I agree RM. Don't see the logic in studying for a degree and slaving around the office until who knows what time to meet deadlines.

This does seem more of an inspirational quote right now.... Granted I have deadlines looming

I wish I had pursued Literature or Journalism ....... but there we go ...... I might be in the same position I am now, but I would really love to have the copy editing background or be able to spell good!

I have two friends who have optom degrees ...... all they are qualified to do is be optoms ..... they would rather be doing something else after + 10 or so years of staring into someone's eyes.

They are excellent optoms .... but then what?

There is only so much you can do with an optom degree .... they have just done MBA's now in the hope they can try to switch careers.

Well said RM.

I had a situation with my brother, who is now in his 2nd yr. He rationale was that I did not finish my studies yet I am relatively successful. My rationale finish your studies as later there will always be other things distracting you from studying. Hence, why I'm still studying. Granted I decided not to enrol this yr so I will have to get my A into G and think about registering for 2012....

I think my lack of interest or lack of completing my degree was due to the fact that my parents loved the idea of me becoming a scientist  Then light bulb moment i decided I can't stand in a fkn lab all my life   I need soemthing exciting.....

Granted I'm still searching for my purpose
