We stopped TTC for 2 years now.
If we manage to save up for one more IVF we might take a moonshot at it. (if our Dr recommends it).
I guess, I still believe in miracles )
But it is all so overwhelming and such a hard journey to be on
Thanks for the reply. my reason is diminishing ovarian reserves or low amh or poor quality eggs.
I have a school friend that fell pregnant naturally at 42. Was not even trying for a fourth child. No treatments, no supplements - all she said what probably helped was the fact that she started eating and exercising and lost 10Kgs
So 42 is definitely not too old for you dear. You got this. And yes, we may hear a lot of people's opinions and advice but this is our own personal journey and we should follow our hearts.
Yes I was in that group and remember your name. I struggled to conceive my first but my second one was much quicker. Sorry to hear that you have had no luck yet, do you know the reason as to why? Honestly I do not see 44 as to old to fall pregnant but it does become more difficult, I am turning 42 this year and do hear that I am too old
* TTC baby #1 for 1.5 years
(tried naturally for 1 year - anovulatory cycles)
(medicated Fertomid cycles for 5 months)
BFP - 1 Sept 2015 - un medicated cycle
TTC baby #2 - October 2017
BFP - 3 January 2018
If memory serves me correct we were in TCC2017 group. its been a while since I logged on. so absolutely lovely to hear that you had a baby since then. Unfortunately, I am not that fortunate. Tried a couple of IUIs and IVFs. then gave up when it didn't work. I turn 44 this year, so my chances are as low as you can get.
