Ahhhh shame...you had me in stitches now!!!!
Sorry, I know it is no laughing matter in the moment, but the strange things that they do!

But, no seriously, I wished I walked away a lot more - YOU CANNOT REASON WITH A 3 YEAR OLD! The sooner you accept that, the easier your life will be. Yip, it does get better! We have a lot less power struggles and she is accepting certain things a lot easier (except cleanup time in the afternoon!) :pinch:

But I am enjoying my LG soooo much it is insane. Their minds are just amazing at this age - a very beautiful thing to witness.

Good luck with the PIENK MELKIE in the mornings!

Hi Gloeiwurmpie

Tell me about 3 years!!! I thought "the Terrible 2" were bad but this is a whole new ball game - she has a strong personality (which is a good thing but can sometimes drive me to drink LOL) and very independent (again a good thing) but not at 05:30 in the morning when she insist on making her own PIENK MELKIE (Nesquick) with a full 2L bottle of milk and she wants to pour (and mess at least 300ml on the floor).

Please tell me it get's better? I try to walk away but she sometimes follows me (still convince they learn too much at creche ;) ;) ). Any way it is still a joy (sometimes) to have her!!!! :P :P

Sterretjie - great to hear from you!! So glad the pregnancy is going well.
Hope that Inge bonds quickly with her new little sister! ps: 3 years was a challenging time for me and my LG...remember to breathe (and walk away when needed).

Thank you so much for your kind wishes! xx

Hi Ladies

I thought I will pop in quickly to say HI!!!

I still read your thread and I am still holding all my thumbs and wishing you all will fall pregnant.

Carmen - your daughter is so beautiful and her 3rd birthday is around the corner!!!! Congrats on the natural and I am so so sorry that it ended that way.

Gloeiwurmpie - The Garden Route is still my favourite spot in SA - love the Wilderness; Tsitsikamma; Victoria Bay that entire area. Yes Cape Town is stunning but unfortunately doesn't offer many job opportunities.

Flowergirl - Wow Wow Wow on the weight loss - you are a true inspiration!!!! Keep it up!!!

Gain-a-baby; Nicolette; Juno; - hope you are well too!!!!

AFM - Inge turned 3 in December - little talkative (cheeky) Madam - some days she drives me up the wall but I love her dearly!!! She is also not to faced with me being pregnant - now and again she would listen "hoe my sussie swem", maar in general she doesn't show any interest and I am also not forcing the subject. At this stage their brains are like sponges and I don't want to plant a seed that she will still ride on for the next two years.

All is going well with this pregnancy - time is flying by!!!!

Ladies, you are forever in my mind and I keep you in my prayers that very soon you will have sticky baby dust!!

Lots of Love

Me

Wish there was a radio station without any bad news, just good news!!

Wow, running...I haven't leveled up that much yet. I am still regularly doing my pilates - but it isn't much of a cardio workout. I am really so happy for you!

Yip...any news from anyone else - even it isn't TTC talk? :silly:

Yes GW, the Cape is beautiful, isn't she? Sadly its beauty was totally lost on me this morning as i Listened to the morning news :( what a sick, sick, sick time we live in.

Re: your anxiety - you and me both! I get nervous for the smallest needle prick so you are not alone. Also dont know how anyone bears the endless testing and retesting. Thinking of you.

And yes, TONS more energy but that could is probably more my fitness levels that are improving because of the running rather than because of the weight loss.

How is everyone else? So quiet here.

Hi Flowergirl,

Yes, thank you. We were lucky to spend a week and a half in the Garden route area- so so beautiful!!!! I am in love with the Cape, I really wish we had work opportunities in Cape town!!

Well done on the weight loss - that really is something significant!!! May the rest of the 12 kg's fall off quickly! Do you feel as if you have more energy?

I really admire all the ladies who go vir IVF/IUI and all the tests and treatments. I don't know how you do it. I am having MAJOR anxiety just having this stupid "blocked tubes" test. So many ladies here have had so many tubes and needles poked in places where you are not supposed to be poked!! I feel like a complete sissy! Perhaps I can blame it on my 2 serious sicknesses in hospital as a child...I don't know...

Wishing everyone a good week! xx
