well its good to know that other 2 year old's are interested in toys, my boy the first thing he does is break it and then throws it away, if I buy him a car, he will stand on it until the windscreen breaks and then leave it there,

the only thing he is interested in is his big black motorbike, the ones from checkers, PnP.

married for 3 years with 7 yr old daughter and 2yr old son.

Thanks girls, I like the idea that they can both play with something. Like the tea set. Will go and have a look at Crazy Store.

My almost 2 year old likes:

featherduster (small one from crazy store)
baby pram (cheap one from the crazy store)
Crayons or small pencils
those magnetic drawing boards that you "wipe" clean by pushing the knob to the other side.
small broom for kids

Thanks Claire for those options. I have many 2 year old parties coming up before my babygirl turns 2. I like to buy useful items ... i like your options :)

Boys, girls or pigeon pair ?

A little cashiers till and shopping basket with plastic fruit, tins etc (you get really cheap ones)
Puzzles
Home made play dough and buy cookie cutters
you get all sorts of things to push (not that educational, but loads of fun)
Tea sets with plates and cutlery (you can split the set between the two)
colouring in books ans crayons
sticker books

We're going to a birthday party for 2-year-old twins. What can I buy them that's nice and educational but not too expensive?
