My son is eight months now and he hasn't been sleeping well for the past two weeks. He didn't feed at night for some time now but wants a bottle now every night, sometimes two. Last night, I kid you not, had to get up about 5 times before 11 and 5 more until 5am. Then I handed him off to Dad and went to sleep until 6:00.
He recently started crawling and pulling himself up on things. He also had two teeth come through this week.
How long until I can sleep again? I feel like dropping him off at his Granny's for the weekend and sleeping until Monday.

It does sound like sleep regression, and unfortunately all you can do is suffer through it. And I am sorry to tell you this girls but there is one at nine months, twelve months and eighteen months.
If you google it you will see that basically after every big milestone there is a sleep regression. Don't worry it usually only lasts about two to three weeks. but Shellie is don't know is 8 weeks is a sleep regression
Going through one know with my LO and it's rough

But it does sound like she's in a bit of a habit and dependent on you feeding her to fall asleep again. My advice would be to try and get her to do less of it?
Perhaps try offering her water from a bottle? But don't do it with every feed. Choose a feed and work towards changing it one feed at a time?
Are you on solids yet?
I've read that we need to be consistent with a change for atleast 3/4 nights to see a difference. So my thinking is I don't have anything to loose in trying some tricks? If they don't work, I'm where I was anyway. Alternatively they just might work and we all get to sleep again
maybe i am also fuelling this habit by offering boobie everytime. She doesnt want her dummy all the time, and will at times only settle if she gets boobie . Yes she drinks everytime she wakes up, I just offer boobie as half asleep as i am., so maybe i need a plan to be strict with that.
i have tried waking her earlier, but she wont feed them, my litle one doesnt dream feed, if i try that, she just ends up crying because she just wants to sleep, only to wake up an hour later wanting food.
