Oh Kimika - wanted to ask - how long were you in labour with Pietertjie? I'm sure driving to Genesis will be fine. My labour with Megan was just 3 1/2 hours, but we would have made it if we had to drive. If you go there at the first signs of labour, you should be fine.
Taryn - I was supposed to photograph a wedding middle February but I've already mailed the couple and cancelled. There's no way I will be able to cope with the wedding etc. You won't be allowed on the plane either. I think you can't fly after 36 weeks of pregnancy. Maybe better to tell her now that you won't be able to make it so she can make alternative arrangements.
Joli thats so funny! They have proper gate-fencing now. Howick falls has become known for suiciders now. Terrible!
I also thought about the summer thing the other day. I had an April baby and flip it was so difficult in January/february. My feet were like balloons! But I was a bit hefty (picked up 18kgs). So hopefully with the good exercise and diet plan it will be easier.
I also found that it was quite snuggly having a baby then going into winter. Its nice to wrap them up snug, so the sleep well.
Trust this the month that I wouldnt have been so upset if I didnt get a BFP. Im a bridesmaid end of Feb for my cousin, and have to fly down to cape town! I suppose only time will tell if I can actually make it or not.
I will have a caeser before my due date...which will probably be beginning of March. But I went into Labour at 37weeks with my LG. So its a bit dodgy being so far away from home.
Kimika two of the same sex is also nice. It's nice to have a brother / sister of the same sex. I really don't mind if this is another girl, but I think hubby would really want a boy, even tough he won't admit it.
I like the fact that I'm going to be at home during winter .
Well I went to look at the gym close to my work today. It's sooooooooo nice. They've even got a relaxing room with little spas and shower things that spray water over you while you in the spa with relaxing music etc. I just can't wait to start! Going to try to go at least 3 times a week.
Taryn - we used to live in Ladysmith and one day we went to look at the Howick waterfall - I must have been about 10 / 11. There was a fence there and lots of people watching the water fall. I tried to climb over the fence or sit on it, I can't remember now, but my pants got stuck and it tore right off my bum - you could see my whole panty!! You can just imagine how embarressed I was!
Joli, your hubby is so sweet lucky you for feeling no symptoms!!
For those of you going to Genesis, you lucky fishes!! Where exactly in Jhb is it? Do you think if labor starts it would be a bad idea to take the highway from Pta?? Hubby freaked out when I suggested that
I thought about the summer thing a few days ago. Im fine with it.. wasnt so hot with my son and it was just a month later than this bean will be. But the breastfeeding in winter is not so great
Ok so about me: Im turning 30 in December this year, hubby is 32. We are distributors for NuSkin Enterprises, we do anti-aging and wellness products, skincare and supplements Although hubby now wants to finish his Mechanical Engineering diploma and start Civil Engineering. And then ofcourse I have a 15month old little guy who fills my day with smiles We actually stay in Pta but at the moment were in Rustenburg, looking to move back to Pta within the next few months or so.
The ms is a little bit better today and yesterday, maybe its the Sprite
Guys last night just before I fell asleep I had this clear voice in my head saying that Im expecting a boy. Now Im wondering if maybe its just me trying to get used to the thought of not having the girl I want?? But it was very strange.. But I must admit that after waking up I kinda feel more relaxed and positive about having another boy.. hope I dont have to wait to far into pregnancy to find out!!
