Hi Ladies,

So im 20 weeks today. Half way. Its just gone to fast. I dont want it to end. I love feeling my baby kicking inside me...except my bladder seems to be the new toy. My partner was meant to get home tonight and make the 20 week fetal assesment tomorrow but now he only gets home on Friday so I will ask the Dr to write it down and not tell me. Im taking my mom with me because she has been going through a tough time so it will cheer her up.

I had sore boobs right at the start but it hasnt really been a problem since then. My new complaint is that my thighs now rub together and its starting to hurt summer is not going to be fun. Its meant to be 35 degrees in Cape Town today

I went for a pregnancy massage last Friday. They prefer you to be in your second trimester and its normally done by a person that deals with pregnancy. Not anyone can do it. My lady had these awesome pillows from overseas so I could lie on my tummy and not squash anything. The massage was amazing and I will def go again. And Im going to the same lady to do my nails on Saturday. Oh and Im seeing my chiropractor on Friday.
Oh and if you have swelling in your legs or feet they shouldnt massage either. I had slight swelling in my one foot but she said it was ok to go on with the massage. Ive started drinking more water and its helped alot.

my boobs are sore, the only person who seems to feel the kicks is my daughter but hubby when he comes she stops.

@ GML with sleeping not yet still sleeping like a baby beside going to the toilet. Sunday i did 8km walk for cancer still fine .

Ai my boobs are just too sensitive and if one touches them even by mistake I feel like screaming. I am on my 3rd set of bras now and I think they are too big. My poor body!

Its my birthday on the 7th and I just feel like crying for a long while just thinking about it. Don't ask me why, your guess is as good as mine. Yes I am not ok.

So yesterday I went pass Sorbet, did my nails (exhausting exercise) and asked about massages. I told them that I was on my second trimester and they said that it will depend on the massage therapist of they will allow it or not. Like huh? I have never heard that at a certain point in the pregnancy one is not allowed a massage. Is this true though? I felt like a dog with its tail between the legs when I got out of there. I love the ladies there but I will look for another place.

For everyone else here please share your breast changes throughout your pregnancy, Mine is so sore I cannot touch them, th water in the shower hurts them and the blue veins in my boobies are showing like a map. I just want to know if it's a good sign of milk or is it just NORMAL.

Karabo- I understand. I suppose the distance from hubbies in subsequent pregnancies is eminent. I am experiencing the same. He is not as involved as much as he was with the first one.

How is everyone feeling? I'm battling to sleep. Next appointment is only next week. but this little baby is kicking more and more but not enough for hubby to feel. Maybe he'll get more excited when he does actually feel baby kicking

@ karabo i think its pregnancy hormones. Right now i feel like shouting or crying

Boy am I having s weird pregnancy though hey! less and less loo trips, sstill as sick as a dog. Get angry becuse of this metal taste that will not go away. WTF? Its a girl but my mind keeps on thinking it is a boy and only 4D is going to confirm this.
Every night I want to poke my husbands eyes out. I feel he is not supportive and I feel he has removed himself from this pregnancy, it just seems like it is a problem and mine alone. I am having thoughts of moving to Durban and take my kids with or just rent a house some where and live with my kids alone and enjoy life.
It is a weird pregancy isn't it?
