Yes they are very pro-natural here and only do c-sec in emergencies. People look at me with wide eyes when I say I elected for a Csec with K Lol!
Anyways, this time around I wanted to try a VBAC using hypnobirthing as I have been doing a bit of research and it looks like that could work for me. I have not seen a gynae as yet so am not sure what he will say or if he will support my decision. My husband is very sceptical with the whole hypnobirthing thing so have to get him on board as well.
There are no hypnobirthing groups here so if you do not mind can you email me on firstname.lastname@example.org so I can order a copy of the book and dvds from you?
Wanted to ask, do you think its possible for me to learn the technique on my own?
Natural births here are the typical births where you get strapped up, induced, membranes rupture and you scream right though it I dont want any of that! Lol! I managed to find a private hospital that allows waterbiths here so will be using their facilities when am due.

May you have a great pregnancy!!! And a happy & healthy birth and baby. What is your birth options like over there? I think I read somewhere that they are more pro-natural than SA and don't do elective c-secs? Sorry, just interested...
