Lizel- shame sorry to hear you were emotional. It can be trying sometimes with a newborn and I can only imagine having a toddler and newborn can't be easy. Big hugs
Lindy - Kylie is so cute and what a lovely pic of her and her daddy. He looks so proud. I know what you mean about being so inlove. Its an amazing feeling.
Skitter- how are you?
Elrike, Joey, Logansmom, Liz, Claire, Bule- how are you ladies?
So the last couple of weeks has been a little bit of a rollercoaster. Michael wasn't himself and first the midwife said it sounds like colic. So we used the colix drops. And in the beginning when we saw the paed he said its reflux. He advised telement drops and reutri drops aswell as buscopan. Anyway what the midwife & paed advised to use didnt work at all!!! Midwife said to stretch his feeds to 3 hrs and let him cry and eventually to 4hrly feeds. Easier said than done when your child cries blue murder and the neighbours must think I'm the worst mom

So on Saturday I put Michael on NAN Ar (antiregurtitation) and what a huge difference WOW. He doesn't bring up his milk anymore at all. Maybe a drop here and there. And last nite he had one sleep interval of 3hrs and earlier today he did 3.5hrs. Only downfall is that the NAN AR is triple what we were spending on formula but as long as Michael is not suffering, we are happy

So I am over the moon. Finally Michael isnt suffering. Since Michael has been home 6 weeks ago he was drinking every 2 hours. So I can only hold thumbs and pray it gets better.
So now I can stop feeling so guilty about not being able to breastfeed. I thought my body let me down. mean time Michael had reflex and no one could advise me how to breastfeed a relfux baby. So at least I know I can breastfeed
So what has everyone been up to?
