Hello mommies,

Just finished my anomaly scan and everything is absolutely perfect. She's 368g and lying with her head on my bladder - which I can definitely feel... lol. Was wriggling up a storm during the scan so it was very cute.

So very happy.

Who's next for scan??

Hi Ladies

Haven't posted in a while due to a few BP issues. Was in hospital last week - and they kept me overnight to get a 24 hour urine sample (which came back abnormal ) Doc has me on Hy po Tone and I'm monitoring my BP daily - feet is still swollen but she says that that is normal. I'm seeing her next week Thursday again (17/11) I'm just glad that she also checks up and if I have any questions I"m welcome to email her and she responds as soona s she can. She said that the Hypertension is not gestational but genetics (both my parents have it ) and also because of my age.

I've just played catch up and Congrats to all of you reaching the halfway mark - I'm so happy for you all!!!!

AFM - I'm 26 weeks now and next week I'll be in the Tri-3, baby is getting more and more active by the day. and I'm loving it. I'm getting some paint this weekend and then my father in law will be painting the cot - gonna stick with grey and white (but thinking that black and white is also an option) (Baby A is rooming with us - so once I've giving it sufficient time - we'll move the cot up to our room and get everything sorted there - I'm thinking of putting up a few murals in his little corner - still deciding though)

I have the pram and car seat - and got a few clothing items - but not much as I want to see what I get at my baby showers (my sis is organizing one for the end of Sep and work will be throwing a little party end of October - I go off roundabout the 10/11 (baby is due as of the 17/11).

Just a little heads up re Edgar's 2 pack receivers - they retail at R100 but I don't think that they are worth it - because they are so thin and are more like muslin cloths - i'm going to go have a look at what Woolies has.

If it will make you feel better: I also only feel little flutters....not big movements, just tiny nudges from time to time. And - more so if I go to bed at night and things settle around the house. All going fine with me and enjoying every minute!

Yah! We are all halfway...or almost halfway!! Time really flies so quickly.

Pinky - how scary is it to think we will have a baby in just over 4 months... yay!!! I'm 20 weeks on Saturday and have my anomaly scan on Monday. Very exciting!!

My flutters are so few and far between that I don't know if it's gas or flutters... LOL. I'm still waiting for little madam to jiggle around more.

Anyhoo... happy Monday ladies x

Monday again, cannot believe how the time is flying by, I will be 20 weeks on Friday, HALF way already. Unbelievable.

Jooste, I am also starting to enjoy the lil tummy now and I am feeling more flutters everyday.
