Ctelly and Daerhel...I barely remember what I ate for breakfast...how you 2 ladies are studying??? and passing....WELL?? HOw the heck? Well done!!
Angie...I see your dad is ill. I didn't read back far enough, is he okay now?
StellaK so sorry to read you're sick again...I live in fear everyday of mine starting again...I've been puke free for a month now. Try to take it easy where you can:(
Daerhel, so sorry your babyshower was disappointing That doesn't sound cool at all!
Bellyhearts I'm glad Amber is doing well! Hopefully the calcification does not get worse...I know a friend had to have emergency c-section due to hers getting so bad...not to scare you, you're close tot he end so I am sure doc would have said if you needed to stress.
Wide eye...thanks for remembering me
Meags so glad you had a lovely shower I didn't see pics so I probably didn't go back far enough...will go check.
Prenessa have you managed to out on any weight now that you're close to the end?
Has everybody had their showers now? Had mine on Saturday. Got A LOT of clothes and blankets. Need to get a pram still and toiletries. Don't need to buy any clothes, so I'm glad I didn't buy anything before the shower. Here are a few pics of mine. It was stunning... my brother in law is a chef so did the catering. My sister did the decor. It was a breakfast at Tiffany's theme.
Guests got the cutest mugs, with sugar sticks and coffee bag (that was wrapped and said 'baby is brewing') and also fudge in little 'tiffany' boxes.
Final countdown...I want to start my leave at the end of July!!
Shame Stella, sounds awful, sorry you're still having such a hard time Was it the same with little Gerhard?
Ctelly, I think as long as you aren't getting on a plane you should be fine until at least 36 weeks, unless you have a specific complication. (flying involves pressure changes and things, so is not advised from 7 months on - in fact, you'd have to have special permission from doc in writing before they let you on a plane)
o no dearhel. big hug to you. not nice to have such a disappointment.
make a little party for yourself an DF and go through all the pressies and make it something fun to remember.
Belly, glad you and Amber are doing so well. she is growing so nicely. very normal for the placenta.
Ctelly, traveling will not be a problem and will also not cause any issues. you just might get very uncomfortable in the car, but 4 hours is not really that long. so you will be fine.
the traveling itself will not make you go into labour. the only reason you will be advised against it is that anything might happen from 36 weeks onward and then you would rather be close to your hospital.
we had a nice weekend, but this morning sickness is just draining. i'm just vomiting at least 2 times a day and are constantly nauseous - even during the night and waking up from being nauseous. had 3 bad nights in a row now.
i am home alone this week, and not really looking forward to it. but will keep myself busy with packing up the house. and i also want to get some sewing done - still want to make so many things for this little baba.
