Hi Ladies
Just wanted to know if there is anyone out there that is having/or had IVF/ICSI treatment? We're in our first fresh cycle, had egg extraction last friday (11 eggs, 10 viable) and embryo transfer this past Monday. We froze 6 eggs, and fertilised 4. One didn't get past 3 days, we transfered the second, and froze the last 2 on day 5 in the blastocyst stage. I have a unicornate uterus, so we only transfered one grade 2 embryo. Only testing in 2 weeks' time...it's sooooo long to wait  Any advice?
Looking forward to hearing from you all. :)

Hi ,

How did your treatment go? I am looking at ICSI treatment and its so scary to see how expensive it can be, and wondering if it is worth it?
Please let me know how it went for you.

Hi!

In the end we didn't have to do ICSI, but did artificial insemination instead. It went extremely well and I got pregnant on the first try. I'll be 8 months pregnant on Sunday.

My suggestion is to do any and all treatments at a time when you are able to relax, because relaxation was key to my conception (I was on leave for a few weeks afterwards).

IVF and ICSI can be very taxing on your body (and pocket), but if you try to relax and believe that it will work, it's much more likely to be a success. Best wishes, and I hope all goes well in your quest to become a mommy!

Hi Jinx

Yay that's good news...it's kinda exciting in the beginning but very tiring as it is a long process.
I weighed 53 kgs now almost 57kgs n my bum is so so big just from d med yet I'm not even pregnant. My hysteroscopic surgery was last Wednesday 21st to remove a polyp ,so waiting for AF,then go on med to thicken my lining then d transfer of d embryos by end of Nov I guess,,
They retrieved 17 on d 9th Oct ... n 3 did not make it on d 1st day..
Fertilized 9 ...All frozen but costing me a fortune.....
Good luck.......
