Hi girls!

Congrats on the bfps and babies!!!

Unfortunately ICSI isn't an option for us anymore and we have to use a donor. This was established via surgery at AEVITAS and you are right...they are absolutely awesome!

Hi Ladies,

Betti, I am not sure if you still check this thread but I recently did ICSI with AEVITAS and they where absolutely fantastic. The staff is amazing the doctors are caring and I really had a great experience there.
In regards to the costs I got most of my meds privately but what I paid them was
R25 000.00 this included some of the meds all the scans and the egg retrieval and transfer.
You can also just call the accounts department at they hospital and they mail a detail quotation which is very nice.
I was one of the lucky ones and it worked the first time and I am now 8 weeks 5 days.
I will defiantly go back to them if we ever do ICSI again and I recommend them to any one :)

Me: 26
DH: 30 ( Low SA )
TTC #1 since March 2010

IVF ( ICSI ) #1 23 May - 6 Follies
29 May - ER 6 eggies, 4 good size 1 small and 1 premature
30 May - 5 fertilized
03 June - Day 5 Transfer 2 x Blast ( 1 Grade 5 and one Grade 4 )
13 June - Beta Test 116 BFP!!!!!!

Hi Betti

Just wondering how your ICSI went? I have done my 1st ICSI in April 2013 at Aevitas. Unfortunately it was unsuccessful. Hoping to do another round soon.

Hi Betti - Just wondering how your ICSI went/is going?

We just got DH's SA back and FS said they will try 2 rounds of IUI but chance of success is much lower, after that they will go straight to ICSI. I was wondering what you experience of the procedure was?

DH is 2% morph and a count of 10mill - im not very familiar with male infertility factor but I believe those figures arent great.

I completely get what you saying about not alot of people understanding what you going through. I chat on the Trying to conceive forum - you welcome to come chat with me anytime :)
