I had my son 7 months ago with a natural vaginal delivery. Everything went well no problems. At my 6 week appointment I got the Mirena put in. I had a follow up appointment to check if its placed in properly and it was.
My problem is that I have been bleeding for 7 months now. Some days its heavy with cloths and I am in so much pain, then it's light. It's been going on like this since giving birth,
I just want to know if there is anyone else experiencing this and if you have any suggestions?
I had my daughter almost 6 months ago and I also had a natural vaginal delivery and at my 8 week checkup (no clue why it wasn't 6 weeks) the doctor found retained placenta pieces. I never had any pain really but was bleeding with clots some days lighter than others. I had to have a D&C to remove the pieces.
Did you have a scan at your 6 week checkup?

So I have feedback. After a long consultation and test it came up that I have a progesterone deficiency and that's causing the bleeding. Now I also know why I miscarried the 1st baby due toe the low progesterone.
I am on tablets and so far it has stopped, however I am still in pain everyday.
Seeing the Dr again Thursday so I will know if I have to get a D&C and how we are going forward.
I had my scan at 7 weeks and the Mirena was inserted, after 4 weeks I had to go back to see if it was placed right.
My wall was thick but Dr said it could have been from the hormones,
