I remember very well that sex was more painful for a couple of months after the c-section. For me it did gradually did get better until it went away. All I could suggest is to use a good lubricant like Astroglide (available at Dischem) and taking extra time with foreplay. Take things slow and keep in mind that your body went through a lot to grow a baby.
Are you breastfeeding? Vaginal dryness is very normal and common while breastfeeding due to the lower estregon levels. My Gynea calls it a "breastfeeding vagina" to give you an idea.
However if it does persist perhaps just check in with your Gynea or GP.
Ps: Most important of all...don't forget to do your pelvic floor exercises, this will also help to prevent later problems with urinary and bowel movements. Even ladies who had c-sections should take extra special care to rehabilitate your pelvic floor since it took a lot of strain during the pregnancy.
Make sure you know how to do a kegel exercise properly! xx
