Hi bandile

I don't find it rude to pay for your own food if the party is hosted at a restaurant.

You obviously cater for all the kiddies. Parents can then order something that works for their budget.

What I don't like is being invited to a party at a restaurant and their is only a buffet menu and you are forced to pay an X amount of money. That doesn't work for me cause you have to buy a present as well. It happened to me a month ago. The amount pp was almost R180 :-(

Hi Ladies,

I have not been on the forum for some time. I just want to give some feedback on the party. We had my baby's 5th birthday party at Spur, and it was such a huge success. there ended up only being 10 People. 6 children and 4 adults. We all had so much fun. my child was sooo happy, and what made it so special is that all her good and close friends came.

And the bill was not a lot at all, I was actually so suprised by it that, I offered to pay for everyone! so pleased indeed. I have now decided to do parties at spur or somewhere similar.

:)
