Hi fellow Mommies,

Just a quick question?

If I were to open a convenient, quick-stop shop carrying your baby's essentials - situated close to the usual haunts - Dis-Chem, pick n pay, etc. I feel I am always running between 3 different shops trying to find my favorite brands at the right prices.

I am trying to establish if there is a need for something like this? It would stock Nappies, food/formula and skincare products. Both common brands and the smaller lesser known ones.

Please give me some thoughts and advice. It would be greatly appreciated.

Hi ASaria

Thanks ladies !! Would you ever consider getting the essentials online if it was easier enough?

Thanks

Hi,

I prefer online shopping because shopping with my baby in her pram, with a basket, trying to stuff everything in is just an exercise in frustration. The thing is, running between shops, is exactly the specialty items. My LG for example uses Euceron (Aquaphor) for her eczema. I have not been able to find this at good prices at baby stores. We therefore stock up on this and her wipes in bulk when we do get to a Dischem or a place that has TLC anti nappy rash wipes.

If you could have an online store to deliver nappies, wipes, specialty bathing and creams, supplements (probiotics etc) formula and bottles and so on it would be great!! I'd be one of your regulars!

An online store is fantastic idea. I must admit though that most times I don't buy online due to time and price on most online stores. But if you would have one with competitive prices and reasonable delivery fees than I would be very interested.
