At the bottom of UI-2.3, where it says 'for official use only' they have boxes to be ticked for UI-1.9, certified copy of ID, payslips and proof of banking. So do we need to bring payslips as well? And how many?

I cant remember how many payslips I took

I quick google search came back with answers ranging from 2 to 6!!!

I would say just get for the last six months, and take it with.
Rather have extra, than be sent back for more....

Hi guys

I want to use a company called UIF matters. They have a fee they charge and they apparently help you with the whole process. They help from filling in the forms to actually submitting them for you. Has anyone heard of them or used them before? their website is uifmatters.co.za

I don't think I am up for queuing up at the DOL cause I hear for some people doing it alone can be a nightmare and you end up having to go there multiple times. I have a collogue of mine that also only got her monies when she was already back at work. so this process can actually be frustrating.

I know you can't submit until you're on maternity leave but I'm planning to use a company called Sweet Dreamz - sweet-dreamz.co.za/

It was recommended to me by a colleague who's friend used it - they charge R500 (R450 I think if you are registered with MediBaby) and they do everything for you - help you with which forms to fill out and they go and submit every month on your behalf.
