My pediatrician told me I could give my boy rooibos tea or boiled, cooled water from three months. Only if he wants it. Sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't. Let your baby decide.

At the moment she doesn't need any other liquids if she is drinking the recommended amount of formula or if you are still exclusively breastfeeding. Once you start introducing solids (around 6 months) you can also introduce 30 - 60 ml of boiled water (cooled down). At around 8 months you can start to give her some Rooibos (no sugar or milk) as well if you prefer, together with water. I don't like tea and neither does my baby, she refuses to drink it, so she only drinks water and sometimes VERY diluted vegetable juice, however, she is 2 weeks shy of 1 year.

My lg is turning 5months next week. Is it too soon to introduce her to rooibos tea inbetween feeds?
She has not yet started solids.
