Hi wannabepreggy. That's great news. Did you have that test done by a GP? perhaps I should also have it done as well. Cant even remember if my periods were regular before starting the pill. I have read that even when your period is irregular, you can still count 14 days from your first day of period to determine when you ovulating. Its worth a try? Baby dust to you! My next period should arrive next week Wednesday! Here's hoping I don't get it!

Hi sugar and spice. Thanks for the reply. I asked the gynae to do it for me. It was very expensive (R1400) but I am glad I did it for peace of mind. I was supposed to get my period yesterday. Well, that's if I had a normal 28 day cycle! I'm trying to not get too obsessed with everything and just try live healthily and be happy. Everyone else is getting pregnant all around me though and I see babies everywhere! There's so much info out there that's it hard not to get confused! Having a follow up at my gynae on 20 Feb. Who knows, maybe he'll find a baby in there somewhere

LOL. I know what you mean. There is so much out there that it gets overwhelming. I also am trying not to sucked into it all. It just creates more stress and worries which isnt good for baby making. At the moment i am only counting my 14 days. That's enough for me right now. I also want to do a check up with my gynae soon. Where are you based?

I'm in Joburg You? I bought one of those clearblu ovulation kits the first month I was off the pill. Got two positive readings in a week which apparently isnt right so I decided to give those a miss as well. All my inside bits look fine so I am glad about that. I have a history of ovarian cysts so hope I concieve before all that nonsense starts again! Thanks for the replies, it helps to unload on other ladies in the same position :)
