Hi Lise

I have used Celestamine syrup and Bissolvin Lintus for my daughter since she was a year now she is almost 4 we only used the celestamine once but Bissolvin has been very handy for any type of cough or throat irritation she had ever had since 1 year old up until now when she is going to be 4.

Celestamine is a steroid so you can only use it for a short period of time but it is used to dry up their noses, chest's, reduce the inflammation of the lungs that's cause the phlegm to develop making them chesty, she had no side effects to it, but we have only ever used it once for 5 days only.

Bissolvin, I keep stock of at home, no codein, very similar to prospan cough syrup, very safe to use, but it helps chesty kids, loosen the phlegm so they can spit it out if they can.

I hope this info helps you.
