Hi Guys

Do you have children who suffer from EBD? I have a daughter who suffers from Anxiety just like her mom and I often feel that I am alone in this journey of taking care of her and helping her cope/live with her anxiety daily. She is only 9 years old.

I have started a series on my blog called EBD and would love to share more stories about this. I started writing about my daughter and her story.

"...My eldest daughter Amandalynn suffers from anxiety and the changes we had to make is so much more than I expected. As I mentioned I suffer from anxiety, which means I have a better understanding of how my daughter feels and because my anxiety was misdiagnosed as a child and I grew up not understanding my anxiety and that is the one thing I do not want for her...." I would love to share more stories of parents just like me who have children that struggle just like mine.

If you are interested in taking part of this series you can email me ( thestilettomum@gmail.com ), I will share every segment of the series on this post as well.

A quick into about your family.
How did the diagnosis happen? What made you realise your child suffers from that particular EBD and the steps until diagnoses.
How did the diagnosis affect you as a parent emotionally?
How did it affect you family and what changes did you have to make?
What didn't you know about your particular EBD before this process started and advise for other parents going through the same thing.

If you are to afraid to share your story so publically we can share the story anonymously, other parents need to hear that they are not alone.

As parents when our children are feeling down or struggling our first instinct is to jump in and try and help or try and fix the situation. This is our job as parents but on the other hand it may make our children feel that there is either something wrong with them that needs to be fixed or it will mean that we do not give them the tools to handle situations as we do everything for them. {New Blog Post}
